Prayer Beads by Marcie!
While I don't claim that my Prayer Beads have any mystical properties of their own, I take great care to create Prayer Beads that can help you focus and meditate on your time of Prayer. Please note that each set is hand-made and therefore unique, and so may vary slightly from the pictures below. Also, if you have a specific theme, color or request, please let me know and I'd be happy to create a set of Prayer Beads to meet your needs!
Catholic Rosaries. The first Rosary you see below is the one I made for my Dear Grandmother. She absolutely loved it! It follows the classic five decade format of ten "Ave" beads separated by a distinct "Pater" bead. The Rosaries can be created in a number of different beads and gemstones, so please inquire about special pricing.
Protestant Prayer Beads (also called "Christian Prayer Beads") have been around since the mid 1980s. When you order a set of Christian Prayer Beads from me, I include a helpful booklet that I've compiled to help you in your Journey of Prayer. The configuration of the Protestant Prayer Beads contains symbolisms that refer to traditional Judeo-Christian beliefs. For example, they follow a pattern of seven beads (called a week), separated by four distinct beads which outline the shape of the cross. And there is a total of 33 functional beads (aside from the smaller, decorative beads) used in the set, which represent the years of Jesus' earthly life.
Catholic Sapphire & Ruby Rosary
For this beautiful Rosary, I used deep sapphire- and ruby-colored glass beads, french Claissone beads, as well as pewter rosebud beads. I made this one first as a gift for my Dear Grandmother. Other colors and stones are available; please contact me for special orders. I'd be delighted to make yours according to your specifications. $69
Protestant Prayer Beads (with Swarovski Crystals)
Each of these Prayer Bracelets is made with Genuine Swarovski crystals (shown are Topaz, Amethyst, Light Sapphire & Ruby) and delicate rosebud pewter beads, which is gentle reminder of Jesus (He is called the "Rose of Sharon" in Scriptures), and is about 8 ½ " long. Each also comes with a helpful booklet telling about your Christian Prayer Beads. $39
These are the colors available for the Swarovski Crystal Prayer Beads
Catholic Gemstone Rosary
This Gemstone Rosary (shown in Amethyst) is smaller than the one I made for my Grandmother, but still in the popular five-decade style. I used beautiful amethyst gemstone beads, frosted white glass beads, with the "Pater" beads, as well as the Crucifix and the Madonna center in a glorious pewter-finish. Gemstones available include Amethyst, Aventurine, Lapis, Rose Quartz, Unakite, and Yellow Jade. $34
Protestant Prayer Bracelet (with Gemstone Beads)
This Gemstone Prayer Bracelet follows the same design as the Swarovski Protestant Prayer Bracelets above, and also includes the helpful booklet telling you more about your Christian Prayer Beads. For the set pictured above, I used beautiful amethyst gemstone beads, frosted white glass beads, with the Cross and the four Cruciform beads in brilliant pewter. Other gemstones are available (Amethyst, Aventurine, Lapis, Rose Quartz, Unakite and Yellow Jade). $29
Protestant Prayer Beads (with Jade Cubes)
This inspiring Christian Prayer Bracelet is created using a soothing pale Jade from Mexico in cubed beads, and adds to its uniqueness. The Cruciform rosebud beads are pewter and so is the cross. Dark green seed beads help separate the cubes for easier handling. When you order this set, the helpful booklet is also included. $34
Protestant Prayer Bracelet (with Natural or Dyed Shell Beads)
This Shell Prayer Bracelet follows the same design as the other Protestant Prayer Bracelets I make, and also includes the helpful booklet telling you more about your Christian Prayer Beads. For the set pictured here, I used hand-dyed shell coins in a soft blue with dark blue frosted glass beads for added contrast. Other colors are also available (Pink, Orange, Green and Natural). $29
